| The North Mississippi Industrial Development Association (NMIDA) is comprised of electrical power distributors serving counties in northeast Mississippi. This agency's primary purpose is to generate business and industry prospects for the region through proactive and effective marketing and promotion. It also serves to promote a positive business image for northeast Mississippi, coordinate economic development activities in the region, gather and disseminate relevant information of interest to business organizations, provide support for state and local business organizations, and work toward a stronger regional infrastructure and business climate.
